Refugee Working Group CONTACT: Bob Stevenson, 729- 3765, stevbob@magma.ca PURPOSE: To facilitate the settlement of individual refugees and/or families. ACTIVITIES/OPPORTUNITIES: Our main activities focus on welcoming and assisting, usually over a two-year period of sponsorship. The tasks are many and include arrangements for housing, banking, schooling and health issues. Other activities can include arranging social activities, day camp registration, and securing furnishings for the families.
